THE DETAILS

Official Hunt Rules

Free-entry hunts in Ghana. For players aged 18 and over.

Version 1.0 · Effective 29 October 2026

01Who organises the hunts

Rumble hunts are organised and administered by Monster Entertainment (the “organiser”). For questions about a hunt, a prize or these rules, contact 054 499 8605 within Ghana, or +233 54 499 8605 internationally.

Monster Entertainment is responsible for administering the contest and arranging its prizes. A brand may fund or supply prizes; any such partner and its role will be identified in the hunt details. The presence of a venue, mobile network or product brand does not by itself mean that organisation sponsors or endorses the hunt.

Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, Rumble hunts in any manner. Google is not a sponsor or organiser of Rumble hunts.

02Who can participate

Participation is open to people aged 18 or older who are physically present in Ghana and can lawfully access the announced hunt venue. Players must have their own Rumble account and meet any published neighbourhood, invitation or venue-access requirements for that hunt. These requirements must be stated before registration opens.

People under 18 may not participate, including with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. The organiser may ask for reasonable proof of age when verifying eligibility or a prize claim.

Each person may use only one account to participate. A player must not enter through another person’s account or use multiple accounts to obtain extra places or wins.

People involved in planning the hunt, placing its tags, administering claims, or otherwise given non-public tag locations may not compete for its prizes. They must not pass that information to participants.

03Entry is free

All hunts offered as part of this launch are free to enter. No purchase, payment, deposit, purchased credit, pass or subscription is required to register, participate or receive a prize. This applies to both organiser-funded and sponsored launch hunts.

Buying anything from Rumble or a sponsor will not grant additional entries, priority access or better chances of winning in these hunts. Registration may still be limited by the published capacity and eligibility requirements.

Players arrange their own transport, mobile data and compatible device. Ordinary personal expenses are not entry fees paid to the organiser. Any unavoidable venue charge must be disclosed before registration; a launch hunt must not require a paid venue ticket as a condition of participation.

04The details of each hunt

Before registration opens, Rumble will publish the hunt’s:

  • Name, venue, permitted boundary and any access restrictions.
  • Registration opening and closing times, check-in window, start time and scheduled end time.
  • Maximum number of participants and any invitation or area-membership requirements.
  • Prize quantities, descriptions and values, including network restrictions and validity periods for airtime or data.
  • Maximum wins per player, redemption instructions and any redemption deadline.
  • Named prize partners, if any, and the contact for help.

Dates and times are in Ghana time (GMT/UTC+0) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Read these rules together with the hunt details. A hunt-specific detail cannot override the free-entry requirement or a player’s legal rights. If details conflict or are missing, contact the organiser for clarification before joining.

05Registering and taking part

Register through Rumble and wait for the app to confirm your place. An invitation, an attempted registration or arrival at the venue does not by itself reserve a place. Registration is subject to eligibility and the remaining published capacity.

Complete check-in as instructed in the app. Hunting and prize claims begin only when the hunt is live. Search within the permitted area and scan tags through Rumble. Location access is needed to verify that a claim is made in the hunt zone, and camera access is needed to scan a physical tag. A working internet connection is needed for server confirmation.

The hunt ends at its published end time, when all prizes have been validly claimed, or when it is stopped under section 10. The app’s current hunt status determines whether claims are being accepted. A pause does not automatically extend the scheduled end time; any revised time will be announced.

06How winners are determined

Each prize tag can produce one successful prize claim. The winner is the first eligible player whose valid claim for that tag is accepted and recorded by Rumble’s server while the hunt is open.

Picking up a tag, seeing it first, starting a scan, or taking a screenshot does not reserve its prize. If several players scan the same tag, the server accepts only one valid claim. Phone clocks and the order in which players see a screen update do not determine the winner. An unconfirmed or failed scan is not a confirmed win.

A valid claim requires the correct hunt and tag, an eligible registered and checked-in account, presence in the required zone, an unclaimed prize, and compliance with the hunt’s win limit and these rules. A player who reaches the win limit cannot claim another prize from that hunt, including through a second account.

There is no random draw to select a winner after a valid tag claim. Winning is not guaranteed. It depends on finding an available tag and completing a valid claim before another eligible player. Server records inform the result, but suspected technical errors can be reviewed through the dispute process below.

07Prizes and delivery

In these rules, working days means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Ghana. Calendar days include weekends and public holidays.

Only the prizes listed for the hunt are offered. A stated cash or airtime amount is the amount awarded; it is not a promise that every participant will receive that amount. Data prizes must identify the actual bundle, supported network and validity period, rather than describe the organiser’s purchase budget as a guaranteed retail value.

Confirmed wins appear in My Prizes. Follow the displayed instructions and carefully check recipient details before confirming delivery. A valid compatible mobile-money account or mobile number may be needed for cash, airtime or data. Provider eligibility restrictions must be disclosed before registration.

The organiser will not charge a fee to release or deliver a prize. Never give anyone your account password, sign-in OTP or mobile-money PIN to receive a Rumble prize. Any legally required withholding must be explained and documented; this clause does not promise that prizes are tax-exempt.

The organiser will arrange delivery within seven working days after a confirmed win and receipt of the correct information needed to fulfil it. If verification or a provider problem prevents this, the organiser will explain the delay, give an updated delivery estimate and keep the claim open while it is resolved. A failed payment or telecom request does not by itself mean that a prize was delivered or forfeited.

Once a provider has completed delivery to the recipient details you confirmed, reversal may not be possible. Contact the organiser promptly if you notice an error. Problems caused by the organiser or its systems will be investigated and corrected.

Any deadline to request delivery, redeem a voucher or use a bundle must be disclosed before entry and shown with the prize. No undisclosed claim deadline will be introduced after a win. A network bundle’s validity after activation is different from the time allowed to request delivery.

Prizes are not automatically exchangeable for cash or another product. If the advertised prize cannot be supplied, the organiser will contact the winner to agree a suitable replacement of equal or greater advertised value. It will not silently substitute a lower-value prize.

08Play safely and fairly

  • Follow venue rules and staff instructions. Stay within the authorised hunt area.
  • Do not trespass, enter restricted rooms, climb unsafe structures, dig up landscaping, open electrical equipment, or damage property. No prize requires unsafe or unlawful access.
  • Do not push, threaten, harass or obstruct another player. Do not participate while driving.
  • Do not remove, relocate, destroy, conceal or block tags to stop other players scanning them. Follow staff instructions for handling tags after a claim.
  • Do not copy or distribute QR codes, use remote scans, spoof location, automate claims, exploit software faults or impersonate another player.
  • Do not use advance knowledge from organisers or field staff to gain an advantage.

Stop and notify a field officer if a tag or route appears unsafe. Safety takes priority over continuing the hunt.

09Eligibility checks and rule breaches

The organiser may reasonably verify eligibility, a claim or suspected misuse. Any information requested must be necessary for that purpose and handled under Rumble’s Privacy Policy. Do not send identity documents through an unsecured public channel; the organiser must explain a suitable verification method where documents are genuinely needed.

A claim may be withheld during a review, or invalidated if the player was ineligible or materially breached these rules. Where reasonably possible, the organiser will explain the issue and allow the player to respond. Disqualification must be based on relevant evidence, not simply on a player raising a complaint.

If a claim is invalidated, the organiser will record the reason. It will not promise a replacement winner or restart a prize contest without announcing the applicable process. Other valid wins remain payable unless there is a separate justified reason affecting them.

10Delays, interruptions and cancellation

The organiser may pause, postpone or cancel a hunt where needed for safety, severe weather, loss of venue permission, serious technical failure, fraud or another material event that prevents a fair hunt. It will communicate the reason and any revised arrangements through the app and/or the contact channel used for the hunt.

A cancellation does not automatically cancel prizes already validly won. Confirmed wins will still be fulfilled, subject to justified eligibility or fraud checks. Unclaimed prizes are not automatically owed to participants or divided among them.

There is no entry fee to refund for a free hunt. Players should check the latest status before travelling. Nothing in these rules excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Material rules, prize or schedule changes will be communicated clearly. The organiser will not retrospectively reduce an earned prize or change the winner-selection method to disadvantage a valid winner. These rules do not grant an unrestricted right to cancel prizes for convenience.

11Questions and disputes

Contact 054 499 8605 / +233 54 499 8605, giving the hunt name, tag or prize reference if known, the approximate time and a brief description of the issue. Screenshots can help, but do not send passwords, OTPs or mobile-money PINs.

Report a hunt or claim issue as soon as practical, preferably within 14 calendar days of the event or discovering the problem. The organiser will acknowledge your complaint within two working days of receiving it and provide an outcome or progress update within seven working days of receiving it. The suggested reporting period does not extinguish legal rights or excuse an unresolved delivery obligation.

The organiser will review the relevant claim, registration and delivery records and explain its decision. If the issue remains unresolved, you retain the right to seek assistance from the appropriate authority or court. An internal decision is not a waiver of those rights.

12Personal information

Account, registration, location, claim and recipient information is used to operate the hunt, check eligibility, prevent misuse, deliver prizes and resolve complaints, as explained in the Rumble Privacy Policy.

Participating does not require consent to unrelated marketing or publicity photography. Any optional marketing or identifiable promotional use must be explained separately. Your player name, results and rankings may be visible to other players through the app’s gameplay and leaderboard features, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

13Applicable law and rules version

These rules are governed by the laws of Ghana, without removing any mandatory protections available to participants. Monster Entertainment must obtain any authorisations required for the actual hunt format before running it.

Rules version: 1.0. Effective date: 29 October 2026. The applicable version and hunt details will be available before registration. Keep a copy of the information for the hunt you enter.
